Caspian Region
Discover our recent project
The Caspian Basin has long been recognized as one of the most resource-rich oil and gas regions in the world. Today, Professional Oil & Gas International Company (POAGIC) is driving new exploration and development efforts in Dagestan, breathing fresh life into this historic energy hub and opening the door to greater efficiency, innovation, and long-term returns.
Strategic Positioning in the Caspian
POAGIC’s concession area, covering almost 200 km², is currently under active development in one of the most productive oil provinces on the planet. Surrounded by existing infrastructure—including pipelines, transportation routes, and nearby refineries—the location provides a strong logistical advantage. This reduces operational costs and ensures faster, smoother routes to both local and international markets.
Revisiting Historic Oil Fields
Initial development of these fields began in the 1950s and 60s, producing steady results with the technology of the time. More than 85 wells were drilled, with historical outputs ranging from 150 to 1,226 barrels of oil per day, averaging around 350.
Today, POAGIC is applying modern exploration techniques and advanced seismic studies, which have revealed multiple reservoirs within the concession area. These discoveries have increased reserve estimates to an impressive 2.3 billion barrels of oil across three fields—with one of them alone holding more than 780 million barrels of P3 reserves.
High-Quality Crude Oil
The crude oil in this concession is of particularly high quality, similar in composition to oils found in Libya. This makes it highly attractive to refineries and traders alike, further strengthening the economic viability of the project and reinforcing POAGIC’s position as a trusted energy partner.
As active development moves forward, this 200 km² land block represents one of the most promising opportunities in the region—bridging historic fields with modern technology and global energy demand under POAGIC’s leadership
